Canadas Wonderland Spooktacular PDF Print E-mail

Just came back from Canada's wonderland.  Each October their season draws to a close, with a small exception.  They remain open on weekends for Spooktacular (during the days) and Fear Fest (at night).

Spooktacular is for the kiddies.  The park is decorated with ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins and creepy characters (not too creepy though...the kids will be ok).  There is spooky music throughout the park.

The only part of the park open for this is the kids area.

There is a treasure map which you can follow (at your own pace) and at each stop the kids get some treasure.  Treasure includes neclaces, plastic coins, pirate hat, eye patch and fake teeth...I think there were some jelly beans too (the kids loved it).

All the kiddie rides were open and since it's starting to get colder there were no line ups at all (this on a Saturday).   I took some pictures and will put them throughout this story once I've transferred them to the computer.

It cost us $10 each (and $9.90 for parking).

There were kids storytime too, with a vampire and red riding hood telling stories (both the people who played them were great).

Staff seemed friendlier than usual today (maybe it's the costumes).  Most of the kids there were also dressed up :-)

Well, talk to you soon...keep looking for the pics!
